">Job DescriptionThis Full-Time Opportunity requires a motivated and experienced Sales Professional who excels at closing deals and achieving results. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a seasoned Used Car Director who has a proven track record of mentoring and promoting top talent into management roles.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Achieving sales and leasing targets for both new and used vehicles, meeting dealership standards for gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.
- Welcoming and assisting customers entering the showroom or sales lot.
- Aiding customers in selecting a suitable vehicle by understanding their preferences and requirements.
- Providing information on optional equipment available for customer purchase.
- Offering test drives to prospects in accordance with dealership procedures.
- Utilizing the dealership's sales control and follow-up system.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Familiarizing oneself with and adhering to federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales.
- Establishing personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards and devising strategies to meet them.
- Attending product and sales training courses as directed by the sales manager.
- Staying informed about new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to customers.
- Understanding equity and values, explaining depreciation to customers when necessary.
- Ensuring the sales manager has the opportunity to meet with each customer.
- Directing 100 percent of closed deals to the finance and insurance manager, providing complete and accurate paperwork.
- Writing comprehensive sales orders and processing paperwork in line with established dealership policies.
- Preparing sold vehicles for customer delivery before their arrival.
- Delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Introducing customers to service department personnel, emphasizing the quality and efficiency of available service repairs and maintenance.
- Scheduling the first service appointment for customers.
- Following up on post-delivery items, tag/title work, we-owes, and special requests to ensure all customer expectations are met.
- Maintaining an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business, contributing to customer satisfaction.
- Managing a prospect development system.
- Reviewing and analyzing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to enhance time utilization and planning effectiveness.
- Attending sales meetings.
- Maintaining a professional appearance.
