Job Summary

Talent development at Marriott is a key driver of business performance and people priorities. The Vice President, Global Leadership Development, is a senior leader who architects the company's leadership and executive development strategy.

This role partners with other leaders in Talent Development to achieve excellence in team performance, elevating and creating consistency among practices, and driving team engagement.

Key Accountabilities & Near-Term Priorities:

1. Rethink the leadership talent strategy to align with business priorities.

2. Integrate HR functions, processes, and initiatives beyond traditional learning and leadership development.

3. Develop a data-driven approach to talent-based decisions at the leadership and executive level.

4. Modernize the leadership development philosophy to focus on high-impact roles.

5. Establish a leadership framework that develops roles and functions with the highest impact on the organization.

Core Leadership Development Responsibilities:

1. Define the strategy and key programs for the Leadership Development function, reflecting an integrated approach aligned to organizational priorities.

2. Provide strategic direction for core management offerings for new leaders.

3. Lead the evolution of program offerings for leaders at various levels.

4. Partner with senior executives to provide strategic thinking and solutions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior/Development, Business Administration, or related major.

2. Ten or more years of experience in human capital consulting, organizational development, or leadership development.

3. Experience leading Leadership Development at a Premium Consumer Brand.

4. Prior experience in developing and implementing multi-year plans.

5. Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
