Youth and Family Therapist

About the Role:
The Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Youth and Family Therapist to join our team. As a Bilingual Therapist, you will provide culturally responsive mental health services to youth and their families, including individual and family therapy, and child and family team meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly individual or family therapy for an average of 10-12 clients.
- Meet weekly with clients' families for family therapy as clinically appropriate.
- Facilitate child and family team meetings as necessary.
- Complete written mental health notes, treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain close communication with other Seneca providers to design, implement, and monitor treatment planning for clients.
- Communicate and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate regularly in individual and/or group supervision.
- Maintain availability to provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Provide case management and coordinate linkage to other community resources as necessary.
- Function as team leader and uphold the ideals of the program.
- Commit to and engage in self-evaluation as well as organizational efforts goals, strategies, and systemic practices regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
- LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license eligible with the California BBS.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy.
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
- Must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Benefits:
- Starting at $77,440 - $91,440 per year, actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
- $4,000 salary increase for BBS licensure.
