Job Summary

As a seasoned Audit Manager I Real Estate/Construction at CBIZ Accounting Tax and Advisory of New York LLC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements for clients in the real estate and construction industries. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on industry trends and best practices
Manage staff on engagement deliverables, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion
Conduct technical and strategic reviews to ensure quality control standards are met
Develop and implement engagement budgets, consistently meeting charge hour goals
Supervise, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive team environment
Participate in practice development activities, generating new business opportunities and cross-serves

Requirements

Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
6 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with 3 years of supervisory experience
Active CPA or equivalent certification
Proficient use of applicable technology
Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements, communicate effectively, and travel as needed
