At Tarantino Properties, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Knollwood Pointe Senior Living Community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

About the Role

This 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm) position offers flexibility and a sense of fulfillment that comes with caring for others. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and assistance to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity. You will work under the direction and supervision of the Assisted Living Director, ensuring high-quality care that meets regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department, adhering to Federal and State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN or Assisted Living Director.
  • Care for residents as if they were an extension of your own family, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting), promoting their comfort and well-being.
  • Support residents with Ambulation and Transferring, ensuring their mobility and safety.
  • Take and record vital signs, recognizing abnormal changes in body functioning and reporting them to supervisors.
  • Measure and record height and weight, calculating and recording fluid intake and output.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents, engaging them in activities and conversations.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Caregiver required, with previous experience as a Med Aide/Tech also desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a Senior Living Community is preferred, but not essential.
  • Caregiver Certification and/or Medication Aide Certification are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is necessary.
