**Job Summary**

VHC Health is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As an essential member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to patients in the operating room setting.
  • Supervise assigned personnel and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with hospital policies and procedures, as well as departmental protocols, to deliver exceptional care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • At least one year of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure in Nursing required.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications may also be necessary depending on the unit assignment.
