Job Summary

Community Management Associates is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
  • Sweep and mop floors, as well as vacuum carpets.
  • Obtain and restock necessary supplies, such as soap, paper products, and dog bags.
  • Monitor contractors to ensure they are following building policies and guidelines.
  • Perform basic maintenance work and minor repairs, such as replacing broken switches and repairing door handles.
  • Walk around the exterior of the facility daily to identify any maintenance needs or issues.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in general grounds or buildings maintenance.
  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry trades.
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment related to facility maintenance.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test.

Working Conditions
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changes. The employee must be able to remain focused and work effectively under such circumstances. The position also requires the ability to work in small and confined spaces, as well as interact with all types of individuals.
