Substitute Office Coordinator

Job Summary:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the District Office, providing exceptional customer service and support to the public, staff, and students. This role involves operating the switchboard, responding to inquiries, and performing various clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the District Office switchboard and respond to incoming calls, emails, and messages.
- Provide routine information to the public, staff, and students, and direct them to the appropriate resources or personnel.
- Perform various clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Arrange for daily substitute coverage and ensure seamless continuity of office operations.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
- Have a passing score of 70% on the district academic proficiency test.
- Experience in clerical work involving frequent public contact is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Bilingual-Biliterate English/Spanish is required.
- Knowledge of school district operations is desirable.
- Computer literacy is required.
