We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Research Specialist to join our team at a top-tier healthcare research institution. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about pediatric education and health research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative pediatric bladder health education tools and related research studies.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments through cross-sectional surveys and analyze large databases to inform research decisions.
  • Oversee regulatory processes for data access and propose necessary modifications to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with researchers to co-author publications and regulatory reports.
  • Supervise staff or students and provide guidance on project work and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in a relevant social science field and two years of applicable experience.
  • Proven understanding of scientific theory and methods, with excellent analytical skills and judgment.
  • Able to work effectively under deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate with colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in developing digital/virtual education curricula, particularly in health education.
  • Familiarity with IRB guidelines and regulations.
  • Prior experience producing academic manuscripts for publication.
  • Experience writing academic grants for funding opportunities.
  • Proficiency with statistical software such as R or SPSS.
