Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team at Elite Dental Partners. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dentists with various treatment procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during treatment procedures, capturing high-quality dental radiographs and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Carry out infection control protocols, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
  • Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts and educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and suppliers, scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify.
  • X-Ray Certification where state regulations specify.
  • 2-5 years of dental assisting experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
  • Additional experience as a surgery or advanced procedure assistant.
