Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team at Elite Dental Partners. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dentists with various treatment procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during treatment procedures, capturing high-quality dental radiographs and ensuring patient comfort.
- Carry out infection control protocols, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts and educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and suppliers, scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify.
- X-Ray Certification where state regulations specify.
- 2-5 years of dental assisting experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
- Additional experience as a surgery or advanced procedure assistant.
