Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Director to join our team in Collinsville, IL. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $90K - $130K.

Responsibilities
  • Embody and promote our core values within the organization.
  • Serve as the primary client relationship manager, advocating for their needs and interests.
  • Lead large-scale energy efficiency programs from inception to completion, driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer account management matters, addressing challenging requests and escalations.
  • Manage multi-program budgets, allocating resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to program staff, promoting education, awareness, and creative solutions to meet program goals.
  • Coordinate effectively with neighboring utilities, gas and electric.
  • Monitor and manage program budgets to ensure optimal utilization of funds while meeting or exceeding activity targets.
  • Prepare regular reports for clients by requested due dates.
  • Represent the program positively, communicating effectively with area stakeholders.
  • Incorporate best practices in energy efficiency program implementation.
  • Utilize effective project management skills to lead this program to success.
  • Promote continuous improvement in operations year after year.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits.
  • Support senior leadership in achieving program goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Directly manage and oversee program staff, including interviewing, planning, assigning, evaluating performance, coaching, mentoring, and directing work.
  • Mentor team members to achieve personal and long-term developmental goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing energy efficiency programs.
  • A minimum of 5 years of management/supervisory experience, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and mentoring.
