Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment and the movement of products within the warehouse. This includes picking, scanning, labeling, and staging product, as well as counting and inspecting product for damages or discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and staging product for shipment
  • Operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Counting and inspecting product for damages or discrepancies
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Complying with all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Current or prior MHE certification

Work Environment

The Material Handler will work in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels and temperatures. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment.
