Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Care Specialist to join our team at MyOrthodontist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting our orthodontists with treatment plans.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity with a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday. You will work closely with our team to provide top-notch service to patients and help them achieve their smile goals.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes competitive salary, 401(k) with matching, dental insurance, disability insurance, employee discount, health insurance, vision insurance, Health Savings Account, life insurance, paid time off, paid FMLA, tuition reimbursement, and student loan assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Doctor with orthodontic treatment in accordance with state regulations.
  • Take complete records including digital scans, diagnostic x-rays, and photos.
  • Educate patients on oral healthcare of braces, aligners, and/or their appliances.
  • Accurately chart and document all notes pertaining to the patient during the exam and treatment set forth by the Company guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school or equivalent (required)
  • 1 year of Ortho Assisting experience (preferred)
  • English/Spanish language skills (preferred)
