Strategic Enterprise Sales Professional

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in enterprise settings? Do you have a deep understanding of complex business systems and technical requirements?
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Billing Sales team at Stripe. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with prospective users, developing account plans, and leading in-depth product discussions to drive strategic deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a named account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding business with enterprise companies.
- Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, to go live for companies within the named account list.
- Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing users.
- Work with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, and Finance) to lead complex product workshops and develop financial analyses.
- Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process.
- Engage with cross-functional teams (Partners, Post Sales, Product, Marketing and Engineering) to help drive and iterate Stripe's GTM strategy for Billing.
What You Need
- 8+ years of sales experience at a technology company and a track record of top performance.
- Owning a direct sales quota, with direct sales experience closing new business and/or expansion of existing users.
- A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners.
- The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
- A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision.
- An enthusiastic 'roll up your sleeves' mentality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in selling billing, payments, invoicing or ERP solutions.
- Proven ability to sell complex API first solutions.
Benefits and Compensation
The annual base salary range for this role is $268,800 - $484,300. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends. This role is available either in an office or a remote location.
