We are seeking an experienced Principal Enterprise Services IT Program Manager to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA, or one of our other locations. This role will provide strategic leadership and direction for our Digital Manufacturing Engineering and Quality (DMEQ) organization.

Job Overview

This position will oversee the development and implementation of IT strategies that support the Mechanical Engineering department. You will be responsible for providing vision and strategy, requirements forecasting, process and software application alignment, tool integration, and cost performance for the Engineering Systems Pool (ESP) portfolio of applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the ESP leadership team to optimize IT strategies in support of Mechanical Engineering goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership over IT activities supporting Mechanical Engineering, including strategy development, budget and cost management, proposal development, product and service acquisition, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with project teams and resource managers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve competing demands related to project scope, schedule, cost, customer satisfaction, and quality, while ensuring compliance with organizational processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM-related discipline and 5 years of relevant experience in support of Information Technology, engineering, or a scientific discipline, or a Master's degree in Engineering or STEM with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic direction regarding IT products, processes, applications, and technology.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, leading projects, budgets, and schedules.
  • The qualified candidate must have proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher level.

Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $95,300 - $165,500, as well as a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, Company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). The estimated bonus range is not specified, but employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on individual contributions and company performance.
