Due to retirement, we are currently seeking a Sales Account Manager to support sales activities for the Kemps business in NE North Dakota and NW Minnesota area.  In this role, you will creatively develop strategies to maximize sales and leverage space opportunities; and demonstrate a thorough understanding of sales reports such as ranking, ACV, market share, sales movement, etc. to grow Kemp’s position. Kemps is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by more than 12,500 family farmers.  Since 1914, Kemps has provided families with fresh, delicious dairy products, fresh milk, frozen yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese, and frozen novelty treats.  By joining Kemps, you can help us continue to make a difference that matters.  We care deeply about the well-being of our neighbors and friends, and we celebrate the diversity of our company and our world.  It takes an incredible team to deliver the goodness of dairy and enrich our communities – come join us Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for the performance of accounts within assigned territory.  Take action on account challenges and opportunities while effectively balancing the needs of Kemps and the customer.Consistently present business reviews and provide store-level insights on alignment between retail activity and overall key initiatives.  In partnership with Kemps’ Sales or Trade Marketing Analysts, discover and communicate the effectiveness of promotional activity and other key metrics.Present annual category reviews to enlighten key customers on the performance of competitor brands within each category.  Identify and leverage opportunity gaps and utilize advanced selling skills to build the case for new products.Collaborate with Sales Representatives or brokers to successfully execute strategies and implement new products or programs.  Support the efforts of Sales Representatives to build positive customer relationships and recognize opportunities in the operations of individual stores, driving the customer’s business through product mix, price points, promotion strategy, etc.Analyze the impact of production capabilities, distribution service levels, and accurate order entry on profitability at the SKU and store levels.  Identify cost-saving opportunities and work closely with internal Kemps departments to enhance profitability.Resolve customer problems or concerns with pricing, credit, or collections to maintain customer satisfaction and maintain company profits.  Address reoccurring issues or trends with key decision-makers at headquarters.
