Prerequisite: Must be able to train on 1st shift (6 AM - 2PM)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for building a well-trained team which is passionate about safety, quality, efficiency, and company success.Teamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit, puts success of team above own interests, supports everyone's efforts to succeed, maintains a positive attitude, generates ideas and suggestions that improve the team s performance, the efficiency of the process or the quality of the products.Observe all expectations for quality, and safetyMust enter all batches in Plex when mix is completeLift, dump and mix all dry and liquid ingredients into mixer and dump stationRead and follow recipes and enter data into the Plex system for inventory controlUtilize HMI/PLC to manage batching/mixing systemCheck viscosity by using measuring device and stopwatchCheck batter deposit weights, batter temperature, and other parameters as specified on documentationMonitor the griddle and over to ensure quality of productEnsure all ingredients are brushed/wiped and inspected before being usedAble to lift 50 to 70 lbs. Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as requiredKnowledge of SQF, GMP s, SOP s, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirementsReport any/all food safety or food quality issues immediately to supervision or QAPerform related duties as assigned by production lead or other managementMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresAssist production lead with changeovers as required (including moving materials, equipment, etc.)Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce wasteRework all product as needed, do not waste productNotify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctionsClean up line continuously throughout shiftAble to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as requiredAbility to troubleshoot any issues in the mixing operationOther Responsibilities and Skills Needed:Oral CommunicationTeamworkEthicsDependabilityDecision-makingAttention to DetailEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Must be willing to work weekends when neededBasic mathematical skillsPhysical and Safety Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 50-70 lbs.Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP s) and all other food safety requirementsComplies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE s) requirementsReports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to lead or supervisorConstant walking and standing on hard concrete surfacesFrequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting and climbingPosition will require working in very hot and cold conditionsOther conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes if product burns
