Volt is immediately hiring for Electromechanical Technician in Robbinsville, NJ.

Compensation: $40-50/Hr. (Willing to offer higher compensation for candidates with additional skills, experience, and qualifications.)

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Position Overview:
  • Job Title: Electromechanical Technician
  • Location: Robbinsville, NJ
  • Work Hours: 1st shift 7am-3pm with potential overtime if a machine breaks down. Be prepared for on-call opportunities as the facility operates 24/7.
  • Overtime: If needed on Saturdays/Sundays
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience:
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Seasoned Industrial Maintenance Technician
Strong Electrical and Mechanical Background:

  • Extensive experience working on large machinery in a manufacturing plant setting.
  • Proficient with PLC systems.
  • Knowledgeable about the National Electric Code, wiring standards, and OSHA compliance.
  • Certified with OSHA 30.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining good relationships with team members.
Beneficial Industry Experience:
  • Experience with big machinery, printing, food processing, conveyors, labeling, packaging, and other related industries.
Bonus Skills:
  • HVAC knowledge.
  • Journeyman Electrician Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including web and sheet-fed presses, bindery equipment, balers, conveyors, compressors, and ancillary equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Read and interpret wiring schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Execute verbal and written instructions with proficiency.
  • Utilize electronic test equipment effectively.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards.
