The Plant Manager will be a key leader for the North American operations in charge of managing and improving operations and manufacturing at on their most important sites. The Plant Manager will have full site responsibility and be leading a plant management team over several value streams with a complex operation.

Description

  • Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Establish and implement safety programs in line with company values and policies.
  • Responsible for day to day management of the business to achieve the budgeted operating profit and working capital targets.
  • Comply with direction obtained from the Board of Directors, CEO, CFO and Group Operations Director.
  • Review monthly financial pack to determine progress and status in obtaining objectives and revise plans as necessary in accordance with current conditions to meet the overall objectives.
  • Ensure adequate resources (personnel, materials, equipment and training) are provided to meet the company objectives.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to employees.
  • Chair Monthly Management meetings to evaluate the business performance and strive for continual improvement.
  • Responsible for meeting the customer, statutory and regulatory requirements of the business.
  • Establish a work environment conducive to maintaining good employee morale.
  • Provide suitable compensation and benefits in order to maintain existing employees and stay competitive in the market when we are recruiting new employees.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports and ensure that all managers do the same for their employees.
  • Develop and implement a three-year plan in line with the company objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Management, Plant Management, or Operations Management with full plant and operations responsibility
  • 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and operations
  • Strong technical background and experience with engineering and maintenance
  • Strong experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
  • Experience working in regulated industries and familiar with government contracts highly preferred
  • Six Sigma and Lean certifications highly preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of safety programs, OSHA standards and federal regulations for safety
  • Strong with Microsoft suite of products
  • Experience working in a global organization preferred

Job Offer

Competitive base salary $140,000 - $165,000, bonus, profit sharing, full benefits, 401K, vacation, holidays. Being a part of a growing and innovative company. Opportunity for career advancement.
