A 200+ bed hospital near Philadelphia, PA is seeking an OR Assistant Director Bordering New Jersey and Pennsylvania, this facility offers excellent patient care and has been named one of Pennsylvania's top health systems.
The OR Assistant Director oversees 24/7 staff supervision and daily operations, ensuring performance improvement, risk management, quality of care, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective service delivery. Key responsibilities include planning, communication, coordination, direction, assessment, and staff education to meet high standards. As a professional nurse, the OR Assistant Director also contributes to hospital-wide initiatives and serves as charge nurse during shifts, providing direct patient care when needed, adhering to hospital policies and the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act.
Applicants will stand out with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited school, by being a licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania, and holding Basic and Advanced IV Certification as well as BLS Certification (ACLS and Specialty Certification preferred). Flexibility for alternating shifts, at least three years of staff nurse experience, and one year of healthcare supervisory experience are required. We seek candidates who demonstrate exemplary performance standards.
