Bring your impact to the table and together we will continue to work towards being one of the most trusted companies in pet care.As a Chemist at Nestl Purina s Analytical Laboratory on the Proximate Team, you ll execute and interpret complex procedures and protocols within a project or goal. You ll be a great fit if you are a self-starter who takes initiative and works independently while collaborating within our laboratory teams. Come prepared to learn method development, make process improvements, and help draft standard operating procedures (SOP s) in addition to mentoring other team members.Implement and improve automation and reproducibility or results Prepare and interpret reports of complex experimentsFollow established methods and procedures to deliver timely resultsPerform analytical testing of finish products and various samples including in-process samples, stability samples, and raw ingredientsamplesPerform analytical equipment validation, and ensure routine calibration and preventive maintenance is performed at the required intervalsAssist in development and validation of analytical methods in support of projectsRequirementsBachelor s degree in Chemistry or a related field3+ years of analytical lab or industry experience, analytical instrumentation experience, and troubleshooting of assay and equipment issues Other1+ years of experience working with lab samples including fat, fiber, ash, and/or protein samples is preferred1+ years of experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory is preferredEnvironment includes exposure to Top 14 Allergens.The approximate pay range for this position is $59,000.00 to $85,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
