Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required
Experience:
2000 hours direct bedside care in a cardiovascular telemetry or cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years - Core Requirement.
Certifications/Licensures:
RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Core Requirement
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required prior to completion of orientation to the assigned area
Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test - Must Pass at time of hire (Required if hired after 11/15/2018) Required
Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test - Internal Candidates Must Pass Prior to Applying for Position (must be proctored in Human Resources) - Required
NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Certification
Skills:
Core:
Demonstrates competency in the care and management of acute stroke patients and has completed all required stroke education and competency validation.
Demonstrates competency in the management of selected vasoactive and antiarrhythmic agents.
Demonstrates competency in the management and discharge of Observation patients.
Pay Range:
$73.20 - $99.73 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36
