Safety Coordinator

Summary of Job: The Safety Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing organizational safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment across both construction and general industry settings. This role focuses on building strong relationships with employees and managers to support a culture of safety and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA regulations.Education and Experience:Bachelor degree in Safety or Business related field or equivalent experience Minimum 1 - 2 years related experienceKnowledge and proficiency with Human Resource systems; Solomon Payroll systems; Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as neededSkills and Abilities:Good analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to establish and achieve department goals to support company objectivesExcellent communication skillsAbility to effectively facilitate changeGood attention to detail with emphasis on qualityGood planning and organizational skillsAbility and willingness to stay current on legislative and industry changesProfessional demeanorWillingness to learn and develop skillsCustomer service orientedAbility to balance team and individual responsibilitiesWillingness to follow policies and proceduresAdaptable and dependableWillingness to seek increased responsibilityCompany Perks & Benefits:Our mission at Lee Company is to create an environment where our employees can thrive, and we mean that.
