Sodexo currently has an opportunity for a Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. A state-of-the-art hospital that serves the community by providing inpatient primary care, basic emergency services, and health education and outreach services. In this role you will be responsible for managing the Clinical Nutrition program at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital.Sodexo Offers:3 weeks vacation and 3 personal daysReimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewalMoney toward continuing education eventsUp to $5000.00 tuition reimbursement annuallyA full array of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K and moreAccess to ongoing training and development programs, plus health and wellness programs Reporting to the General Manager the ideal Candidate will:Be a registered dietitian with at least 3 years lead or management experience;serve in a leadership role as part of the Food and Nutrition Services management team;have prior experience with a successful room service program;be responsible for managing and developing a team of Dietitians and foster successful patient care programs;maintain a visible role with client interaction, representing the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees;Have a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team. Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
