Sous Chef

Position Information: Full-Time Position, 19.00-20.00 hourly rate.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure freshness and quality of all station items
- Prepare various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using diverse cooking methods
- Comply with standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Maintain sufficient stock levels for smooth service
- Assist with food prep during off-peak periods as needed
- Ensure timely and high-quality food output
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish guidelines
- Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and properly handle, store, and rotate products
- Keep reach-in and walk-in coolers clean and organized
- Conduct oneself professionally and maintain good working relationships
- Adhere to safety protocols and report unsafe conditions
- Comply with all policies in the Employee Handbook
Requirements:
- One year of culinary experience preferred
- Relevant government licenses or certificates
- Knowledge of food preparation, materials, and equipment
- Self-starter with ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Capacity to multitask and work under pressure
- Professional appearance
