The Opportunity
- Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- ED/UCC experience preferred.
- New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.
- Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
The Practice
St. Mary Medical Center - Long Beach, California
- St. Mary Medical Center is a part of Dignity Health system. The hospital has served Long Beach for close to 100 years as a nonprofit, faith-based hospital.
- 165-bed non-profit hospital with an annual ED volume of 58,000.
- 24/7 Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Center, and STEMI Heart Attack Center.
- ED has 20 monitored beds and 5 RME rooms with plans to expand to 8 additional fast track beds.
