We care for your career while caring for the community.Sign-On Bonuses up to $15,00Pension Plan Retirement Plan Advancement Opportunities Employee Discounts SUMMARY As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Tech, you assist radiologists with radiographic procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures. STATUS: Full-Time      LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital   DEPARTMENT: Radiology     SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Rotating weekends ATTRIBUTESExcellent patient service skillsCritical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation skills and professional behaviorRESPONSIBILITIESPatient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service General Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Ensure concise, and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts as necessaryEDUCATION:AS: Radiologic TechnologyLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$30.50 - $38.00CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14621The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
