This position will be in Hickam AFB, on the island of O'ahu Hawaii and will be a flexible/hybrid position.  Learn about our Deployable Comms Team Responsibilities: GovCIO integrates deployable communications capabilities on behalf of our customer to provide deployable communications capabilities worldwide.  GovCIO manages the hardware and software configurations; develops and provides training; field service support, logistics services; and manages Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes on behalf of the customer.  As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) Field Service Representative (FSR) you are the primary liaison between the customer and company.  You are responsible for the overall function of the deployable communications system for the customer from delivery to deployment. You are the SME in system assembly, installation, and system configuration in accordance with site assessments and schematics. You are the SME in ensuring completeness of system programming and optimization as part of the installation process and perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing, and replacing equipment components, when necessary. You provide on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and limited troubleshooting. Operate efficiently to conclude all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test activities.Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematicsCompletes system programming and optimization as part of the installation processPerforms routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components, when necessaryProvides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshootingOperate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test activities Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues Produce frequent and analytical service reports Team up with colleagues and pass on important information Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations Formulate relationships of trust with customersTroubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum timeMaintain effective customer communications and relationsMay provide onsite training of customer support personnelFamiliar with SATCOM terminals and Networking equipmentExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environment and collaborateAbility to work with the customer on a daily basis to train with the system, deploy the system and troubleshoot the system.Able to operate independently, self-starter Qualifications: High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and ExperienceClearance Required: Active TS/SCI Eligibility1-3 years SATCOM experience1-3 years Networking experienceHave experience working with COMSEC items/materials (i.e. Type 1 encryptors, SKLs, KGs, etc)DoD 8140 IAT Level II (Sec+CE, CYSA+, CND, CCNA-Security)Preferred Skills and ExperienceExperience with DoD deployed communicationsExperience with DoD NIP, SIPR, and JWICS Networks Company Overview: GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range: USD $95,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
