*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a dedicated *Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant* to join our team at a busy clinic in *Spring Valley, NY*. This role is ideal for a motivated healthcare professional who thrives in a diverse clinical environment and can engage with patients in a compassionate and efficient manner.

*Fluency in Spanish is required* to effectively serve our patient population. Speaking *Creole* is a plus.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and efficiently.
* Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and other routine medical tasks.
* Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients, particularly Spanish-speaking individuals.
* Prepare and sanitize exam rooms and medical equipment.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system (*eClinicalWorks* experience preferred).
* Support clinic flow by coordinating with providers, staff, and patients to ensure efficiency.
* Work flexible hours, including 2 evenings per week and 2 Sundays per month, as part of the clinic schedule.

*Qualifications:*
* Certification as a *Phlebotomist* or *Medical Assistant* (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
* Proficiency in blood draws, specimen handling, and routine medical tasks.
* *Fluency in Spanish is required*.
* Ability to speak *Creole* is a plus.
* Experience with *eClinicalWorks (ECW)* or similar EMR systems is preferred.
* Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
