Configuration Management Analyst 
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Yearly Base Pay: $80,000 - $100,000
Work Arrangement: Hybrid-Remote
Clearance Requirement: Must possess Active Secret Clearance

In this hybrid-remote role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the integrity and control of configuration items, collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining robust systems across diverse platforms such as Windows, Linux, and RHEL.

Project Specific Responsibilities:


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document configuration management requirements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration data
Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures for a variety of different systems, such as Windows, Linux, RHEL, etc.
Maintaining the configuration management database and repository
Perform regular audits, review, and documentation for system configurations
Support cross-functional teams in conducting environment scans and documentation in preparation for upgrades, pitches, disaster recovery, and any other happenings as needed
Work closely with system admins, network engineers, platform engineers, and other IT staff to ensure documentation and recording of configurations
Manage the configuration report of all systems and software/hardware across the enterprise environment and identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain version control of operational configurations for hardware and software
Work closely with stakeholders to resolve configuration-related issues and discrepancies
Stay current with industry trends and best practices

Minimum Requirements



TCS135, T3, Band 6







Project Minimum Requirements:


Candidates must possess an Active Secret clearance
Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship

This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptimeCandidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule


Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from Colorado Springs, CO, and be prepared to work onsite at the customer's discretionOnsite presence is required during the transition period and as needed thereafter

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
7 + years of related experience
Experience as a Configuration Management Analyst or related field
Change or Configuration Management tools
Experience with MS Office Suite
Configuration Management tools such as IBM ELM or Rational, GIT, Remedy preferred*

Pay Transparency



Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
