Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage maintenance operations in a food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food production environments and a strong ability to lead a team while ensuring optimal equipment performance and facility upkeep. 
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and support a team of up to 10 maintenance personnel.
Conduct performance evaluations, assign tasks, and foster a culture of safety and collaboration.
Maintenance Operations:
Plan, schedule, and oversee routine and preventative maintenance for all equipment and facility systems.
Ensure quick resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and food manufacturing standards.
Conduct regular safety training and enforce safety protocols within the maintenance team.
Inventory and Budget Management:
Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure availability while controlling costs.
Monitor maintenance budgets and optimize resource allocation for cost efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:
Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and address maintenance-related challenges.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Technical certifications or training in maintenance or engineering are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in maintenance roles within a food manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience required.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and basic proficiency in MS Office.
