We are looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist Cert like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures. What will you do in this role? Perform scrub duties for various surgical proceduresDemonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical casesCommunicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN What qualifications will you need? Graduation from Surgical Technician program is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredBLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) is requiredPrevious scrubbing experience is requiredSurgical Technologist Certification is requiredCertified Surgical Technician (CST), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Technician in Surgery (NCCT) HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center.
