Concentric Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an OB Sonographer - Travel or Local to join our team in Bemidji, MN.
General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Perform general ultrasound exams including small parts, abdomen and OB/GYN independently. Must be proficient in OB scanning as this is a high percentage of exams performed. Ability to assist with IR/Radiologist procedures requiring ultrasound guidance. Ability to perform breast ultrasound and breast procedures.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Ultrasound equipment: GE Logiq E10 and S8, Philips CX-50. EMR – EPIC, PACs - SECTRA
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Two years’ experience in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in all exams in general job duties description above. Strong scanning abilities in OB and Breast required.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) – Both AB (abdomen), OB/GYN & BR specialty registries preferred.
Floating to other units/departments.

100 bed hospital and busy clinic – sonographers perform 10-12 exams per 8 hour shift.

Sonographer will be orientated to department procedures, policies and scan protocols by lead sonographer in department. Expect traveler to be able to scan independently within 1 week of starting.

Shift: 8 hour days
Call: one evening every 3-5 weekdays (4:30 PM to 8 AM) and one weekend, every 3-5 weeks. Weekend call is from Friday at 4:30 PM to 8 AM Monday. Must be comfortable giving preliminary findings to ordering provider when on-call.
