As part of the Operational Data and Integration Portfolio, you will be tasked with provisioning new datasets for ODS use cases, changes to existing loads and overall data flow, scheduled batch, micro batch and real-time. What You'll Do:As an ETL Engineer you will create and maintain optimal cloud-based data pipeline architectures capable of ingesting structured and unstructured data using both batch & streaming methods in a secure, scalable, and efficient manner.Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and technical requirementsIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources, both internal and externalDevelop data flows that can leverage both on premise and cloud architecturesWork with stakeholders including the Data Stewards and Digital Architecture teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs** Internally the position is posted as Engineer IV Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
