Make history with us.GENERAL SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Route Settlement is responsible for overseeing and leading a Route Settlement Specialist team in the Route Account Management department. This position oversees IDP settlement support and ensures timely resolution on IDP requests. This position serves as the first escalation point to support Route Settlement Specialists and works closely with the DSD sales leaders. This position also works closely with the Associate Manager and other RAM leads to identify areas of opportunities within the settlement process and makes recommendations for process improvement.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees, leads, and supports a Route Settlement Specialist team in the Route Account Management Department Oversees IDP settlement support and ensures timely resolution on IDP requests through Service NowAnalyzes Service Now tickets for trends and recommends additional IDP settlement training needs for IDPs and DSD sales leaders Works directly with IDPs in a proactive manner to resolve discrepanciesCommunicates with the DSD sales leaders on an as needed basis to discuss current or potential problemsHelps to support exception reporting for chargeback tickets, no inventory submission, excessive PODs, and missing tickets in doculynxHelps create new settlement exception reporting using PowerBI to proactively identify current settlement issues Responsible for conducting welcome phone calls to all new IDPsHelps support new IDP settlements to ensure accuracy by performing analysis on inventory reconciliation week 1 of start date Communicates daily missing or incorrect PO data to IDPs to ensure proper invoicing Conducts daily consignment review to ensure accurate billing Collaborates with Route Finance Associate to ensure proper IR blocking based on consignment review findingsCollaborates with IDP Collections team to minimize IDP bad debtCollaborates with Route Finance team on inventory reconciliation, stales, redistribution, and other Finance areas Strives to find efficient ways to perform tasks; recommends process enhancements to improve business processReconciles account status using current and historical invoicing and payment activity analysisIdentifies potential issues and escalates as appropriateResponsible for updating documentation for settlement support processes Engages in all meetings with internal departments as well as the DSD Sales leadersEngages in projects as needed Interfaces withSales, Operations and other Finance departments to resolve billing, collection andcredit issuesProvides route specific information to Manager upon request. Provides support and coverage for other associates during times of absences. Performs other duties as assignedCOMPLEXITY AND SCOPE:Minimal supervision: work often done independently by following practices and procedures while occasionally having worked checked. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of 4 years of related experience required% OF TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: Travel required as necessary - up to 10%WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office EnvironmentCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$47,600-$79,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
