Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Maintenance Lead for Its Facility in Northern New York. This Is A Direct Hire Role. Candidates Must Have Previous Maintenance Manufacturing Experience. This Is A Hands On Opportunity. A Strong Mechanical Background Is Needed.
\t\t\tThis job will have the following responsibilities: \t\t\t \t\t\t \t\t\tInstall, troubleshoot, repair, modify and perform preventative maintenance on all hydraulic systems, electrical units, controls, components, and related wiring with adherence to all safety regulationsMoving and installing existing or new equipmentPerform preventive/routine maintenance on compressors, fork trucks, oilers, and filtersPerform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, facility, and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Commercial facility maintenance a plus \t\t\t \t\t\t \t\t\tQualifications & Requirements: \t\t\t \t\t\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of mechanic experience. \t\t\tGood communication skills and the ability to work well with other people in a team environment \t\t\tAbility to learn new concepts quickly and work independently \t\t\tKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methods \t\t\tMust be able to do physical work and operate power equipment.Repair equipment as quickly as possible when a failure occurs.Ability to follow directions from a supervisorMust be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team \t\t\t \t\t\t
