We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsWhat you will do in this role:Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab patients. What you will need in this role:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current State of Florida Registered RN License, orRecognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red CrossAdvanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferredMust have a minimum of one year acute care hospital Cath Lab/EP Lab, ER, ICU and/or PACU RN experience.On-Call RequiredHCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is CARF accredited for inpatient rehabilitation. Our facility offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. This program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We are affiliated with HCA Florida Healthcare Division. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, Florida. We serve as Miami-Dade County’s only Catholic hospital.
