THE WORKWe are seeking experienced Contract Instructor Pilots to support our Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area in various CONUS and OCONUS locations. Learn more of our F-35 Fast FactsWHO YOU AREAs a Contract Instructor Pilot, you will support military pilots in maintaining their qualification level in the Pilot Training Device by executing approved pilot training syllabi, upgrade, and tactics training. This position involves providing pilot training using the F-35 Full Mission Simulator (FMS) and operating the Instructor Operating Station (IOS). The instructor will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pilot training and tactics development, as well as recommendations for courseware updates.Responsibilities:• Provide pilot training using the F-35 Full Mission Simulator (FMS) and operate Instructor Operating Station (IOS)• Support military pilots in maintaining qualification level in the Pilot Training Device by executing approved pilot training syllabi, upgrade, and tactics training• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pilot training and tactics development, as well as recommendations for courseware updates• Implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed• Comply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with F-35 program and customer procedures• Sanitize all classified media (circuit cards, disk storage devices, etc.) to the LRU in accordance with established F-35 and customer procedures• Work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin team at dedicated training sites to fulfill F-35 training and continuation training objectives• Maintain a Secret level security clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) accessRequirements:• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment• Ability to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature• Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as requiredOCONUS Accompanied Status Available: Accompanied status means new hires may have qualifying dependents accompany them on their long-term overseas assignment.
