As a Sr. Electronics Engineer, you will develop embedded sensor electronic hardware and firmware for product development team. Analog and Digital development will combine to develop high performance sensors in the liquidlevel and position sensing applications. This position will deliver robust, cost effective designs from conception to production.
REQUIREMENTS
4 Year Electrical Engineering degree required. Master s level electrical engineering degree a plus
Minimum 10-15 years experience in electrical hardware design and firmware development
Proven sensor design experience in industrial, constriction and transportation
Expertise in microcontroller and FPGA-based system design
Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and assembly
Knowledge of communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Electronics schematic and layout experience using programs such as Altium or Proteus
Hands on PCB build and soldering experience. Must be able to build and rapidly prototype designs through development
Technical leadership
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate to company leadership

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the design and development of electronic circuits and firmware for sensors related to liquid level and position sensing applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define sensor specifications and requirements
Design, simulate, and test analog and digital circuits for sensor interfaces and signal processing
Develop and optimize firmware for sensor processing and communication
Perform verification and validation testing of sensors under development
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and firmware issues to ensure optimal sensor performance
Conduct performance analysis and characterization of sensors during development
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals
Able to develop and execute Project Schedules
Performs other duties per judgement or as necessity dictates
