HVAC Mechanic with Security Clearance

ATI has a current need for a full-time HVAC Mechanic. ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced HVAC Mechanic with an active TOP SECRET clearance. Position required to maintain and repair HVAC equipment throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia. Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties may include, but not be limited to, the following: • Adding refrigerant to or removing refrigerant from equipment;• Installing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems;• Cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures;• Replacing component and parts (pumps, pipes, fans, etc.);• Using power and hand tools safely to support the facilities;• Maintaining air and water treatment systems;• Inspecting refrigerant systems for leaks;• Reading blueprints & schematics, utility plans, mechanical drawings, and electrical and wiring diagrams; and• Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Required Qualifications and Experience • Minimum TOP SECRET Clearance required - additional security clearance investigation upon hire may also be required• Journeyman HVAC or Master HVAC license;• EPA Universal certification;• High school diploma or equivalent;• Must demonstrate proficiency with the following:o Familiarity with building codes, ordinances and regulations of state and local authorities pertaining to HVAC; ando Proficiency with ASHRAE standards to include ASHRAE 55 -Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, ASHRAE 62.1 – Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, and ASHRAE 180 - Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems.
