Shift: Nights / 11p-7:30a, 8x5, 40hrs per week, Sun-Thurs, No Weekends

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

  • OH License
  • 2 Years Experience 
  • Electronic Documentation: EPIC 
  • BLS, ARRT 
  • Teaching Hospital experience preferred 
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred

Job Title: MRI Technologist
Shift: SUN - THURS - NO WEEKENDS5x8 Days - 11PM - 7:30AM
Average Daily Census: 35-40 cases/day
Patient Diagnoses: Inpatient and outpatient workload, specializing in neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging. No cardiac imaging. Scanning of all implants. Predominantly oncology cases, with stroke workup or trauma as well.
Electronic Documentation: EPIC
Years of Experience Required: 2 years
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Certifications Required:• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)• BLS (Basic Life Support)• Ohio State LicenseSkills Required:• Experience in Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Acute Care• Proficiency in Abdominal, Female Pelvis, Male Pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/Soft Tissue Neck, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, and Shoulder imaging• Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and Siemens equipmentSpecial Imaging Procedures:• Fusion (non-brain)• Gradient Echo Imaging• Image post-processing (e.g., Apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction)• Maximum intensity projection (MIP)• Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)• Perfusion• Spectroscopy• Spin Echo Images• Surface Coils• T-1 Weighted Images• T-2 Weighted ImagesSpine Imaging: Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic
