Assistant Nurse Manager

The Assistant Nurse Manager in Med Surg - ICU is responsible for overseeing nursing services within the department, ensuring quality patient care, satisfaction among staff and patients, and building partnerships with other departments. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and an Oregon Registered Nurse License, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's Degree and relevant national certifications. The position is vital in promoting a patient-centered approach and maintaining care standards in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Description
The Associate Nurse Manager is accountable for the provision and quality of nursing services at the facility - department level for a defined department(s), in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals. This includes strategically ensuring a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups. With a constant focus on patient-centeredness and staff and patient safety, the Associate Nurse Manager creates and maintains standards and systems for care delivery for their department(s).

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or in related field.
- upon hire: National Certification from ANA or Professional Organization in relevant field of clinical expertise.
- 6 years In nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles.

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
