Senior Technology Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technology Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategic technology plans, analyzing business needs, and driving technological innovation to support our organization's goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with large-scale system projects, multi-cloud platforms, and integration technologies, along with a strong understanding of API design and Agile methodologies.

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Location: Dallas, Texas

*Candidate is required to be in the office 2 to 3 days a week*

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Strategic planning: Developing strategies, principles, and roadmaps that align with the organization's technology goals

· Corporate Analysis: Analyzing properties, defining business needs, and understanding the external environment

· Technology innovation: Facilitating technological advancement to meet current and future business needs

· System performance management: Monitoring system performance, conducting audits, and implementing improvements

· Communication: Communicating the organization's technical design to stakeholders, management, and SMEs

· Collaboration: Collaborating with system and solution architects to guide the technical design of solutions

· Training and mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.

Required Qualifications:

· At least 5 years of expertise in large and complex system projects

· Demonstrated strong understanding of various technology stack

· Experience in multi cloud platform

· Experience working in an Agile development environment

· Strong knowledge of API design and integration patterns and cloud-based architectures.

· Proficiency in integration technologies such as APIs, ESBs, microservices, message brokers, ETL tools, and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.)

· Proficiency in assessing trade-offs between various design approaches

· Ability to be self-sufficient while working in agile environment

· Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and create comprehensive documentation while providing leadership in driving decisions

· Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and design innovative solutions

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 1/10/2025.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
