As a Procurement COE Specialist, you’ll act as an independent contributor supporting procurement activities. This includes procurement communications, survey creation and delivery, procurement resource administration, procurement training, and process support and improvement. You’ll partner with strategic sourcing, sourcing operations, procurement operations, governance and value performance, and procurement and contracting.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do
  • Support and execute procurement communications, including monthly department communications, communication governance activities and template creation
  • Create surveys and deliver their results to their requestors
  • Oversee resource administration, including administering access to third-party tools and updating new hire onboarding information
  • Provide support to the procurement training lead, including meeting coordination, recording and notetaking
  • Identify and help drive procurement process improvements, including supplier relationship management, supplier lifecycle management and other support as needed
  • Create and execute a development plan and execute on team goals

Basic qualifications
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Copilot)
  • Strong communication skills & interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines or changing needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Internship, coursework or 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related area
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Copilot)
  • Basic understanding of Strategic Sourcing and the 7-step sourcing process
  • Basic knowledge of SAP Ariba (SLM, Purchasing)
