As a Travel Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), I provide care for patients in a telemetry setting, managing a 5:1 patient ratio during night shifts. With over two years of experience and expertise in reading telemetry strips, I am equipped to handle various medical situations in a fast-paced environment. My role includes working with advanced medical equipment and utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) for efficient patient management.

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg

Shift: Nights  / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • CO License 
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Telemetry ability to read strips
  • BLS
  • ACLS preferred
Others::
  • Number of Beds -: 29 beds but can overflow adults in peds for a total of 39
  • Number of Staff –  when at 39 we call for a charge, 8 RN, and our ACT
  • Patient Ratios – 5:1
  • Type of equipment – remote telemetry 
  • EMR – MediTech
