Travel Nurse

As a Travel Nurse (RN) in Telemetry/PCU, I am responsible for providing critical care to patients during night shifts. With a strong background in EKG interpretation and various cardiac drips, I ensure comprehensive patient monitoring and care. My role involves adapting to different units, managing a variety of equipment, and delivering quality care under high-pressure situations.
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCUShift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- TN License
- 2 Years experience
- Must have Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience
- Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care
- Experience with tube feedings and NG/dobhoff tubes.
- BLS
- ACLS
- Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills
- Documentation system: Meditech
- May have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors
- Number of Beds : 630 has 34 beds/ 633 has 25
- Patient Ratios : 1:4 to 1:5 on days, 1:5 to 1:6 on nights
- Type of equipment : bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis. Wound vacs in conjunction with wound care
