The Travel Nurse (RN) Med/Surg position involves providing nursing care in a medical-surgical unit for a duration of 13 weeks, working day shifts with a patient ratio of 1:6-7. Required qualifications include a valid Indiana nursing license, a minimum of 1.5 years of experience, and BLS certification, with a commitment to floating within hospitals as needed. Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg
Shift: Days, 6a-6:30p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOWLength: 13 weeks
Requirements:
  • IN License
  • 1.5 years' experience
  • BLS
Other Details:
  • Ratios: 1:6-7
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by 
  • Locals not accepted
Effective 11/30/24, will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
**Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
Ratios: 1:6-7Weekend: Every other required
