Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) at Epic Travel Staffing summary:

As a Travel Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry/Stepdown unit, you will provide care to patients requiring monitoring and support during critical recovery. This role demands at least 1.5 years of experience in a stepdown or telemetry unit, with proficiency in IV skills and telemetry interpretation. The position involves night shifts, a 13-week contract with possible extension, and entails a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, which may adjust in emergencies.

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, weekdays, some weekends

Length: 13 weeks with possible extension

Requirements:

  • WV license
  • 1.5-2+ years experience
  • 1 year of experience MS/Tele and 2 years of experience in Stepdown
  • Must be able to read strips
  • Skills required: IV start, telemetry
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • EMR - Cerner

  • Travel experience: Not required
