The MDS Coordinator at Harker Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation is responsible for overseeing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires a valid RN/LVN license and familiarity with reimbursement systems related to Medicare and Medicaid. RN/LVN MDS Coordinator

  • A current and valid Texas RN/LVN nursing license or valid RN/LVN license from a Compact Party State.
  • Familiar with Reimbursement system of Medicare, Medicaid & Case Management 
  • Preferred Skilled Nursing Facility Experience as an MDS Nurse 
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, both clinical and financial as it relates to the RAI process and reimbursement systems
