We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an AI Prompt Improvement Engineer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our AI ecosystem by utilizing data science and backend engineering skills. Your primary focus will be on refining and optimizing prompts based on feedback from observability engineers and business analysts, ensuring top-notch quality while addressing edge cases and industry conventions.
- Utilize tools developed by observability engineers and insights gathered by business analysts to enhance existing prompts without compromising quality.
- Assess and modify prompts to address gaps, improve performance, and rectify hallucinations.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in a blend of data science and backend engineering techniques.
- Extensive experience with AI ecosystems, including tools like LangChain, LangSmith, and proficiency in Python.
- A strong inclination towards curiosity and research, essential for identifying innovative solutions.
Tasks
- Enhance current prompts to accommodate edge cases such as multiple currencies/measures, additional validations, synonyms, and industry-specific conventions.
- Collaborate with LangSmith and other models to develop optimal approaches for new use cases.
- Engage with fellow engineers to define tasks and implement technical enhancements, including tool and agent planning, data transformations, and aggregations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in AI ecosystem development, preferably in prompt optimization or similar roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
